WHAT DO WE OFFER OUR GUESTS?

Breakfast

At Casa d'Oro you can enjoy a generous breakfast buffet on which you'll find all the fresh season products, such as the typical charcuterie (prosciutto, salame, capocollo, pancetta, porchetta, mortadella) and cheese (pecorino), eggs produced by our own hens, fruit and tomatoes from our garden, homemade bread, panini or ciabatta.

As spread you can have local honey, marmelade and chocolate paste. For the gourmet there's a fresh piece of cake. The drinks we serve are nespresso coffee, cappuccino, tea or hot chocolate and there's also fresh orange juice.

In the summertime you can eat outside on the terrace. On Sunday we offer you a glass of prosecco. .

Lunch and dinner

If you wish you can order a picnic lunch (sandwiches, cake, fruit). Please let us know the evening before. Some evenings we serve a traditional local menu (first course, second course, dessert, coffee or tea and water) for our guests. In the neighbourhood there are also nice restaurants and pizzerias where we can order a table for you.

Wine bar

Don't visit Umbria without tasting some excellent regional wines. We selected a few good white (Orvieto, Grechetto) and red wines (Montefalco, Colli del Trasimeno) and also tuscan wines (Montepulciano, Chianti).

For those who are interested, we organize a wine tasting at a local property.

Library

After entering the living room, you'll notice that we are passionate booklovers. You can choose a book to read near the swimming pool or on one of the terraces.

But there's more: at the bookcrossing corner your own books can change hands. So you help these books to travel. Get more information during your stay with us.

Relaxation

The whole day you can relax at the swimming pool and have a sun bath in one of our chairs or have a rest at the shade of the pergola. Please notice that you have to provide your own beach towels. Otherwise towel sets are available for rent (5 euro).

The swimming pool is open from Easter till November. For hygienical reasons, shorts are not allowed.

Those who like adventure, can hire a Vespa. You'll find more information in our brochure. We work together with Claudia from “Umbria in Vespa”. On the website www.umbriainvespa.com  you’ll find all conditions and possibilities of Vespa rental.

You can also have a ride on a mountainbike (free use). We can give you some information about interesting routes.

It's also possible to play ping-pong or "jeu de boules" at our bocciodrome. In the neighbourhood there are also horse maneges where it's possible to have an initiation or to book a horse trekking.

Accommodation

In front of the Bed and Breakfast you can safely park your car.

Those who like to have their clothes washed, can use the washing machine for a small fee.

Pets are not allowed.

Indoor smoking is not permitted. Please respect strictly this house rule.
